IMO don't waste your time or money.

I have been going back and forth with the developer as currently I am unable to sync more than 512 songs with a purchased version.

So far the only explination I was given is "you have a defective phone or memory card" which I know is incorrect.

In the mean time until I find something which works well I just created a script to sync my music. Probably should have just done that anyways really

Can somebody post a guide on how to do it for PC? I just moved from iPod to N900 as my player and I've got tons of playlists on itunes that I would love to have on my N900.

Ok sailing media hasn't worked properly...there seems no rhyme or reason why some files work and others don't. I've got DRM free itunes purchases playing and othersongs that don't. Is that a media player fault or sail media fault?!

For those of you using Sailing media, try "itunes agent" it works really well with my N900, with around 2500 tracks (in exactly the same way) and its free.

The one issue I have with Sailing/itunes agent is the lack of playlist support - which is where doubletwist/Nokia media manager comes in. The issue is with an old itunes library its hard to detach from itunes. If only there were a way to talk with itunes seamlessly..

What id really love is music syncing over wifi (not possible yet..)

Yeah I seem to have this very same problem. Mediamonkey has done an alright job of syncing everything, but I'm still getting the odd song that says cannot find file when it comes to play on my n900. I think I am gonna whole sale move my music library on my computer and start a new libary in mediamonkey.

I couldn't get double twist to work and media monkey is far from great seems to glitch from time to time...

biggest thing for me is getting some playlists up and runnng.

EDIT:

hmm looked at itunes agent think that might work well all being good...looks like its another night of deleting all my music off n900 and then putting it back on.

How do the transcoding features of Nokia Multimedia Transfer work?

Do they take into account whether or not you have "Extra Decoders Support" installed?
