Yes, of course. 3G connection is as good as any internet connection. Just make sure you have enough bandwith for Skype voice calls.

That doesn't really make sense: Skype is not a cellular phone service. If you just want to be able to dial numbers of the phone pad and use Skype to make the call then simply pick tap the 'call type' button to use skype.

many carriers block skype calls over their 3G/EDGE networks, so it's not always as easy as that
t-mobile austria f.ex. filter skype traffic, i had to set up a VPN connection to my home network to make it work.

There is a bug needed (add button @ 3.e) to block unsolicited skype spam, (i get a lot mote Viagra offers now my skype is up 24/7.)
I looked around in the wiki and I see there is no Skype how-to for the N900 yet.
Do you think I could write it?
