Where in CT are you? Here in Fairfield County, T-mobile turned on HSDPA+ a few weeks ago out of the blue and without fanfare. It is blazing fast (for T-mobile, anyway).
I am in Wallingford. And I am with AT&T (serving out my previous contract, but at leeast it is only $20 a month for unlimited - edge - internet.)
It is time for me to be in bed any way. If by tomorrow morning I don't see the update I will try flashing it.

I checked, and it is.

https://downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/ssu/002

Am I the only one not yet seing this update?

Edit: When I follow that URL with MicroB I get the following error:

Secure Connection Failed

downloads.maemo.nokia.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is only valid for the following names:
a248.e.akamai.net , *.akamaihd.net

(Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)

* This could be a problem with the server's configuration, or it could be someone trying to impersonate the server.

* If you have connected to this server successfully in the past, the error may be temporary, and you can try again later.

Or you can add an exception…

You should not add an exception if you are using an internet connection that you do not trust completely or if you are not used to seeing a warning for this server.
Could that be the problem?

Hi,

I have the same url for the repository and I am not getting any notification of an update being available.

I run app manage update periodically but so far no luck.

I'm in Tennessee, btw.

I wonder if our problem is related to this issue:

OK. I give up, I will go ahead and use flasher when I get a chance. This is really worrisome though. Sure, those of us that frequent this forums know about all this and how to get around it. But, what about other regular consumers? How will they be notified about the update and will they be able to figure out how to perform it? This is not good.

Don't think it's dns related if you can successfully do the following from the device:

ping downloads.maemo.nokia.com

then dns is resolving the address.
