I don't think so. If you have proof to back up that they did not rigged the vote then I will sincerelly give apology.

Victory is true whether it is by any meant you can vote more than once. But this is a nature of internet voting anyway. Nothing on the internet is fixed without changes. Not even the sun or the moon is fixed or 100% reliable. The closest is 99.99%
Do we need to sink to their level? Because someone else does it, we should? So next time I hear that someone has murdered some other person, then I too, should do such a horrendous act, that shows my lack of proper upbringing? And when I'm trialled in court, my sole defense is "Oh well, but XXX did it too!". At that point, an apology is too, worthless.

Victory by any other means other than that by one's personal ability is a paper victory - a superficial victory. Especially when one side openly announces that they were cheating - at this point wouldn't the people you were attempting to convince using the poll be even more convinced that the device is subpar since you need to resort to cheating to win? An open admission of guilt is anything but a smart move.

Is winning some poll on the internet so important, so that it can justify our purchase? Shouldn't our personal satisfaction be the key issue, instead of some superficial poll? And by your argument, since nothing is certain, why the hell do we care so much about winning a poll?

[QUOTE=maxximuscool;825868a Winner is winner.[/QUOTE]

A person who cheats in order to win is a loser. I have no wish to persist in an argument over the internet - there are other avenues my time is better invested in, so I won't bother replying to any rebuttals you or anyone else might make, simply because you won't be convinced of my viewpoint, and any attempt at correcting it is a simple exercise in futility.

I don't consider this poll as between the phones but rather between the respective commuities themselves. Furthermore this is an excellent chance to mobilize the whole community towards a common cause;namely, indulging in a fun, time-wasting, grade school level boyish game.
This poll really will not affect any real world parameters like sales (unless somebody does minimal research before purchase, but in that case, it's a whole different ball park) or no of apps or respect. It's just fun. It needn't be squeaky clean.

This competition is far more exciting than world cup football or Olympic games - not to mention eco-friendly - am I still normal somewhere?

First: it's just funny nonsense. Do not take it too serious.

Second: Voting systems like the one used in this case are always "multiple voting systems". Anyone ignoring this fact will lose.
This is not "cheating" in those voting systems. It's a part of the
game.

Third: your comparison to murder is somehow dangerous.
Murder and the game we are playing here are very,very different things! I am disappointed that this has to be explained.

To show how stupid the "He did it so I can too" argument is.
