I'm not sure but I think this is the Hardware Synchronisation of Hildon-Desktop. If I read it right in the MeaModder forum, then this does not increase the speed. It does cause crashes and reboot loops. So I think it is not really a good idea to include it in the CSSU.

I am not sure whether this true, maybe someone can ask the developer of MeaModder.

I think it would be better to have everything working fine in portrait
mode because its a pain use the phone in landscape with one hand.
there are situations where you cant use/hold your phone with both hands.

what can be done:
1.lock/filx the search bar in apps like contacts so you can use it in portait mode and
you dont have to slide ou the keyboard when you want to search.
2.A new system virtual keyboard that works in portrait mode
and landscape mode.
3.make all applications work in portrait mode.

This pretty much just made my otherwise smooth animations choppy. Turned it off again. Needs reboot to take effect BTW.

Gpu acceleration yes! And it working very good..

How it can even do boot loop?? The only problem what I read was that it CAN be unstable... My n900 work like a charm. I like it and battery seems to drain slower than normal. So i am happy

Displaying the dashboard (with 3 open apps) and going into menu/submenu. True, it does not tear, but it is noticeably slower (at least on my device). Maybe you should upload a video to YT and show how it is different in your case.
