That command opens a second window if Tear is already running, but nothing happens at all if Tear isn't running already. Weird.

I cant remember if I've asked before, but will you ever fix it so that when , for example , choosing a file to upload to this site the box that comes up is the file manager type view rather than what it is now? As it is now, I cant seem to get to the Images folder ( /home/user/MyDocs/.images).

Just to clarify - the databases are stored in /media/mmc1/Databases.db.
There is one temp folder on /media/mmc1 too.
thanks for the libwebkit update. what does localStorage support mean for the Tear end user? (better gmail/google reader/gears)???

If you hace the 810, you can press Ctrl+H to see the hidden files and folders (it' s gnome's file selection window). But it would better showing hidden files to be the default, because users of n800 and n770 will have a problem...

Or:
Code:
sed -i 's/show_hidden value="false"/show_hidden value="true"/' ~/.config/gtk-2.0/gtkfilechooser
(Problem solved for N800 users like yours truly )

@tso

If you wanna make the default file chooser show hidden files, then the program calling the file chooser needs to explicitly set the 'show_hidden' property. Because I'm gonna be recompiling libhildonfm, anyway, to remove the date and time from being displayed in list view when opening a file, I'll try and add showing hidden files, in the hildon file chooser, as a gconf option.
