I enjoyed using a Nokia 7710 from 2005 until mid last year when I got an N97.. During that time I only ever saw two,, One in Hyde park, London and the other in the film Stormbreaker.. It was always neat having a handset no one ever recognised. Made it al the more interesting when you told them it was a Nokia!

Two days after getting my N900, I spotted someone else with one on a train.. After having one on pre-order a colleague has one too.. Ruined me exclusivity trend

Just spotted Louis Walsh using an N900 on theTV! was watching Celebrity Juice and he just whipped it out

Is this the first celeb sighting???

searched this thread for 'fresno' but nothing came up, i guess i'm the only one who has n900 in this city

First post. Hi everyone. Just got mine last week. Haven't seen anyone using an N900 in my area since it was released.

If he was using QTIrreco he must have been fairly advanced (or stupid!) as that's only in Testing isn't it. Great idea though... takes me back to school and the Casio IR watch.

Nokia are a business and have chosen a path of using the OSS community phenomenon to reduce their overheads specifically after sales support and development. Unlike Apple who do the opposite and make a killing from their Applications store.
