I'll keep improving the design (aka working mockup) and finally, learn code and redesign hildon-desktop altogether.

If anyone can share the method to make QBW go all the way up to the top bar that'd be great. I can then focus on mangling hildon-desktop (more on that later, I'll probably make a hildon-mangling thread.)
BTW, the image resizing on the N900 is crap. I much prefer resizing images to 800x480 in Photoshop and saving to PNG. Also, who doesn't like Chie from Persona 4?

In the main QBW widget screen you can adjust X and Y positions beyond normal desktop restrictions. Lower Y values take it to the top bar, values beyond 400 are only visible when the desktop is force-rotated by CSSU (ctrl + fn + shift + L)

Yeah made a final desktop I think, been working on this the last 2 weeks. It's just that I was very busy with testweek and making money 
Many thanks to bigears5000, he was my biggest inspiration! Media player done in qbw by harrick some pages back I modified the scripts slightly to fit my needs
