yes, cos as u know, Nokia MEA-Dubai is the core of distributing the Nokia Phones to Middle east & Africa, since they still didn't get the Middle east copies, these version are leaked versions from Europe,,,,

and as per Nokia Agent in my country, they said: ( The Middle east version ( full arabic support) will be available first or second week of December 2009)

so i think this copy you have is right the middle east one, but r pre-order versions (by amazon, ebay,...ect), because when i asked the mobile shops here in my country Oman, they told me these devices didn't came from Nokia-Dubai, so 100% Europe version....

cos, ( how come any devices approaches Middle east without full arabic support,,,,, not reasonable)

Watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15IC-ftd5uI ( it is mentioned that, the N900 will be officially available end of November 2009)

Also, regarding the warranty, of course it will not have warranty, cos it still not officially released...(very obvious)

don't Rush & wait at least Month
Mine has 2 years warranty from Intercol, they are the official nokia dealer in Bahrain

I went to the nokia shop in mall of arabia, jeddah, ksa, the other day and they had n900's to play with but they said they ddidn't have it in stock. so they asked me to put my name down. I WAS THE FIRST ONE WOHHOOO, but they havent called me yet my friend told me they already have it here but its not with the retailers yet. so i think they'r just stalling IMO

you know how things happen in this part of the world, i've seen music album and movies coming out officially before the official international release dates.
there will not be an arabic version anytime in december i think. they promised arabic keypads + free installation in 2 weeks.
I saw two versions of the n900 ib bahrain from 2 official partners, both are identical.
the unofficial device was traded for around 800$ 3 weeks ago.

what i meant by arabic version is arabic keyboard..., but of course the N900 will be the same, like previous Nokia phones.....
if you see N97, it was the same no arabic keyboard then after that they came-up with arabic package, so all devices reaching Middle east-GCC will definitely be supporting arabic fully including the N900...
so cheer-up

So , your agent in Bahrain also confirmed that, there will be N900 with arabic keyboard in 2 weeks.....

coolll

Just for your information,,( in your N900 box where it is written Middle east, the arabic word should be next to it like this: Middle East-Arabic) like other Nokia phones
