yes, it is written, but i called Nokia MEA-Dubai, they told me that,;(still didn't receive any devices officially and it might me beginning or mid of December. Besides, when it be available officially, it will definitely support the arabic fully,,,,'
so i think this copy you have is right the middle east one, but r pre-order versions (by amazon, ebay,...ect), because when i asked the mobile shops here in my country Oman, they told me these devices didn't came from Nokia-Dubai, so 100% Europe version....
cos, ( how come any devices approaches Middle east without full arabic support,,,,, not reasonable)
Watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15IC-ftd5uI ( it is mentioned that, the N900 will be officially available end of November 2009)
Also, regarding the warranty, of course it will not have warranty, cos it still not officially released...(very obvious)
don't Rush & wait at least Month

you know how things happen in this part of the world, i've seen music album and movies coming out officially before the official international release dates.
there will not be an arabic version anytime in december i think. they promised arabic keypads + free installation in 2 weeks.
I saw two versions of the n900 ib Bahrain from 2 official partners, both are identical.
the unofficial device was traded for around 800$ 3 weeks ago.
