I would NEVER EVER switch to Android.
It has a silly name, silly logo, and the most evil company on Earth is owning it. NO WAY!
Yes, Android is free, but it will only be free until the competitors go bankrupt.

I think Android is a great name. But what's in a name....? Kind of a lame criticism
yeah, "Android" is much sillier than "Maemo" or "Meego"
Now now, there are companies far more evil than Google.

Hmm, it might be my pareidolia, or some Rorschach-effect, but when i look at the Android logo, i don't see a smiling robot there, rather the opposite.

Meego.. does it even have a logo? I'm not sure that I've seen one yet.

I do fear when the Google overloads die and that "do no evil" gets axed by shareholders. The privacy nightmare will begin then.
I am typing this on a G1 while my N900 is being repaired. I was ridiculed for saying it, but I miss it a lot.
I find the G1 fonts and color combinations and gamma setting are hard on the eyes. The n900 is just perfect to my eyes.
In general the N900 layout and such just makes more sense. And I used this G1 for a year before the N900.
I do think the cellular radio does data faster on the same connection.
