Doubtful, moving the icons like that wouldn't be particularly demanding on the GPU what makes you think the N900 wouldn't be able to handle it?

But if the video were on YouTube... yeah. Play that at 720p and it'd choke.
True, but what's your point? My netbook would choke on a 720p YouTube video and it's a fair bit more powerful than my N900.

Because it chokes when a phone call comes in perhaps? Seriously, if the phone has to choose between switching out from one layout to the other or allowing you to answer the phone, it struggles. It can be overridden via settings, but it shouldn't struggle on something so basic.

So yeah. Moving icons around will probably choke the N900. Care to prove me wrong? Rhetoric is so boring when you can just shut me up via video proof.
