@IcyMoustache do not use update option, go to wiki page of cssu and on your telephone click install

also the problems tab appears when you click the details button (instead of clicking the install button when it comes up in the app manager)

While browsing I came to see that it might be because of rootfs space... So I cleared space, and have more than 400 MB free for installable applications now...

But still the same.... Anyone got this resolved before me???
Yes, this has been mentioned many times in this thread. My favorite solution is to run apt-get update and apt-get upgrade in the usual way as root from xterm. For more discussion, if you search this thread for PC Suite you will probably find it.

thanks man, right now running apt-get upgrade... hope no issues with CSSU
i enjoy reflashing, but at this point of the year, I am really really busy with work, and a reflash above it would really kill me...

you might ask, why do this then?? Well, none of us can really hold our curiosities, can we??

For future reference, don't always just commit to running apt-get upgrade. That can cause problems (like certain packages that you can install, getting downgraded to stock Nokia ones, or upgraded to more recent versions that you might not want, if a more recent version is in the repos you have enabled. [If they aren't pinned]), which is usually not an issue, but it's something people should take the time to warn about when writing up advice to run "apt-get upgrade".

ANYWAY, the other thing is, if you've never installed the CSSU, this won't work for you - you'll have to manually add the CSSU repository information in Hildon Application Manager (or through the command line if you know where to do that). The repo info is:
URL: http://repository.maemo.org/community-testing/
distribution: fremantle
components: free non-free

(Bear in mind this might not be the safest thing to do the very first time you run it. The initial install is a bit different than apt-get just upgrading available packages as far as I know.)

All and especially Geneven, Mentalist Traceur, Many thanks. I installed the CSSU update/ enabled it by clicking on the install link on the wiki, so it is actually installed. The issue came when I went to app manager to update... Due to impatience i took the other route, and did the "upgrade" from terminal. I see Mentalist's words coming true already.

Progress on my "apt-get upgrade":
Overnight it downloaded much, but a few downloads failed (Wagic, wormux data, and more importantly python-pyside.qtgui, and libqt4-opengl

Morning I wake up, find it stuck, and in my impatience use "apt-get --fix-broken".... the CSSU install progresses.

Some parts are still broken, while some are fixed.

For example my menu is working in portrait mode, but other things like CSSU customization etc are missing.

Even now if I try apt-get upgrade again, it still shows the missing applications....

Hi all

I haven't seen a CSSU update come through for 6-8 weeks I reckon.

When did the last update come out and how can I get my phone to check for a CSSU update?
