There is one repo currently. And it's the -testing one. Developers may have custom versions for some very preliminary testing, but there's absolutely no guarantee of stability for the -testing repo. Honestly. Please believe me. It might work fine now, but the next repo might cause a problem which requires some apt-get-fu to fix. If you have installed the CSSU, you are testing it's bleeding edge. So expect blood.

and we already know from the problems so far people are not using search, I am not really sure how easy it would be to find these two issues by using the search facility in any event.
People shouldn't be searching TMO, they should be looking at the set of reported, valid bugs:

Jaffa have you looked at the first thread on this thread recently as instead of now explaining what the CSSU actually is it starts with a post from Stenny saying ''where the hell is the documentation?'!!

Perhaps this explains why so many people carry on asking the same questions as there now seems no easy way to find out where the bugs are listed.

Any chance the first post what used to be there could be put back in it's right full place? Otherwise I feel it is safe to assume the regular questions we are seeing will continue.

Indeed, there's certainly nothing I can do about that. Whether or not one of the moderators can somehow insert a post before Stenny's; I don't know.

Sorry, I just don't get the mindset that a forum is a great knowledge management system. To install the CSSU people had to go to the CSSU homepage; that is where you should go back to see if your question is answered. There's even a sodding FAQ!

I'll report this post to the mods to see if there's a way a notice or something can be added to this thread with background information and persistent links to the relevant information.

after apt-get update and apt-get upgrade I get something like this:
BusyBox v1.10.2 (Debian 3:1.10.2.legal-1osso30+0m5) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

~ $ sudo apt-get upgrade
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following packages will be upgraded:
libpyside1.0 libshiboken1.0 pyside-qt4-core pyside-qt4-gui
python-pyside.qtcore python-pyside.qtgui
6 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 5694kB of archives.
After this operation, 36,9kB of additional disk space will be used.
Do you want to continue [Y/n]? ^C
Is it supposed to be like this after CSSU installation?

If you are worried about entering "Y" are you sure you really are a "tester"? I suggest you read the thread a bit more.

Well I thought that entering Y will restore the old files which had been updated with CSSU. I've entered Y several times without thinking or asking so I thought that it's better to ask then mess the phone again. I read a few pages ot this thread but didn't find the answer to my question. Maybe I didn't look deep enough.

Those packages are unrelated to the CSSU, and are just being upgraded. Probably from Extras-devel. IMHO you shouldn't be doing arbitrary upgrades with Extras-devel enabled.

There is a bug open to merge the offline IMAP support, which can be tracked under #11832.

However, there's not a bug to track "the IMAP IDLE stuff". Have you got a link to the patches?

EDIT: More info here: http://blogs.igalia.com/svillar/2010.../#comment-3162 and https://bugs.maemo.org/3888

Short version: seems that some work would need to be done to prevent IMAP IDLE being an enormous power drain. If a developer wanted to pick up on it and make the PR_Poll() changes discussed, then it'd be includable in the CSSU, IMHO

l think it is the developers views if you need to ask then you shouldn't really test this download which may leaving you requiring a re-flash.
