Does anyone have any instructions on how to use the blacklist for auto rotation? I've seen people mention it in this thread, and I have checked the wiki and seen no details.

Edit /usr/share/hildon-desktop/transitions.ini, line blacklist= as root

I don't know if it has been noticed yet, but you can see changelog with Fapman, just look for package mp-fremantle-community-pr and click changes

The new CSSU Release with portrait mode desktop is just f***ing AWESOME ! Nokia should have incorporated this feature from the beginning of Maemo5. What a shame they did not do it. I am thankful there is such a great Community of Hackers out there actively pushing the N900s abilities to new horizons. Thank you guys for all your hard coding work.

You may find it a mandatory feature, some just find it "nice", but prefer landscape mode, that not many mobiles have incorporated.
