Hauppauge HD PVR. I have tons of HD files thanks to it. Don't tell any of the cable companies though.

The current codecs out of the box are picky, but I can get more to play than not from these types:
1. avi
2. divx
3. mp4
4. wmv
5. mpeg
That alone has four more than Android or Apples can play
The two things I would like to see released to the noob level repository that are a codec pack and an EQ. Both are coming, just a question of "when".

i read it. and i knew what formats to expect out of the box. i also took the time to figure out how to get other codec support after that. simple thing to do.
sick of crybaby threads. knock it off people.
