Yes, and you used single hyphens as dashes. Copy editor to the Internet would be an endless, thankless job and wouldn't pay well either.

If you say so.

A page is only as visible as the links to it. You could have maemo.org/thispageisfab and it wouldn't matter how good it was if nothing ever linked to it.

Make a good page, a home for the Diablo community, and then we can decide where best to link it into the rest of maemo.org.

Ok. I didn't realize Midgard was so bad as to affect editing simple content.
Depends what you want to do; you'll have more freedom, fewer bottlenecks and more control if you use MediaWiki. You could also start this evening :-)

MWKN = Maemo Weekly News, a digest of news from around the Maemo world published every Monday. [MORE INFO]

SSU = Seamless Software Update, the name Nokia used in Diablo to describe the updating of the Maemo operating system using apt, so meaning upgrades with no reflash.

Not sure how that pertains to, or is relevant to, my comment about how you edit people's quotes.
I would think you would agree that there is a rather significant difference in poor grammar in an original post vs. EDITING a direct quote from someone in a way that doesn't clearly/accurately show that it has been edited.
If nothing else I would think that it would make sense to a moderator.

Your reply honestly reads like 'yeah but you did bad too!!' and ignoring my comment about your editing.

Having said that, my use of dashes was apt in the sentence in question so not sure why you even brought that up.

Anyway, this is off-topic. PM me if you want to continue discussing.

Good to see the discussion moving off the original boring topic and onto the critical importance of ellipses formatting.

Good to see that even though I excused myself that it was getting off-topic and explicitly asked for PMs instead - that someone, a moderator, decides to continue it - and even managing to work in slamming the original post's topic.
Thanks, great job.
