Mainly stick with Maemo 5. Meego looks a little too "iphone-ish" for my tastes. Android is only good for flash 10

As much as I love the Android project it would kind of defeat the purpose of the device to have to mainly exist/or reboot into it.

An ideal solution would be ported MeeGo with EasyDebian/Ubuntu and a Dalvik VM (groups are working on this on x86 Ubuntu) to run Android Apps.

I will continue with Maemo5 much because it is based on Debian. If it comes i would love to try Ubuntu 10.7 as it is ubuntu for armel. It will be finished in July.

How does one collect on that guarantee?

as long as nitdroid is able to be reasonably feature complete (good performance, battery, 3g, gps, etc.) I'm going with that. The community for Android is just so much larger, and that's where all the apps are. Otherwise I pray to the people at Intel and Nokia, but mostly Intel to not screw MeeGo up.

Yeah, i saw that one. I am not sure if i like the big menu of Unity but it should be pretty effortless to change. I hope someone or somebody make it suitable for the n900.

I want something with full gmail, google calendar and g-task integration. Also I am not a fan of N900's peroidic buggyness (just had a few days with extreme lag, only aproved apps installed).
Speed is an issue for me and the android port looks insanely fast.
If camera, phone and calendar stuff works I am gone from maemo

I want to eventually build an n900 Frankenstein using Maemo 5, MeeGo and Ubuntu. Maybe I would grave rob Android algorithms as needed. I'll call it Franky.
