Yeah it's nothing to write home about, my buddies here are already on me saying why i would buy a phone without 3G from Rogers...HHAAH...I just told them because it's a better phone than the iphone, they all look at me like I'm crazy or something.

Hopefully windmobile.ca will come through, operations there are still going on strong as my friend who works there has told me.

As for all the reboots people are experiencing, I haven't, even though my old N95 would just reboot when it felt like it.

That's a nice case as well you got, I never liked belt hook ones, too clunky, I like having it in my pocket for added protection.

I find that the EDGE speeds are slow but they're good enough for the stuff I do on the bus, such as reading these forums, checking Twitter and Facebook, e-mail, IRC chatting, etc. I tried to listen to Internet radio but it wasn't a good experience.

FYI: I got about the same speed as EIPI on EDGE (121-132 kbps). On my campus WiFi, however, I got 4420 kbps

Good stuff,

I have a question though, can someone help me,

When I send an SMS I have the correct date and time showing, but when the person responds it's showing up 6 hours behind? So if i send an SMS, it will show up as 2pm but the reply will state that I received it at 9 am, which is really weird. Did I set up the regoinal settings up wrong? I'm not sure.

I found I had to set my region to USA and choose the nearest US city to mine (Seattle) in order to get the right time zone.

Yeah I think I'll try something like that, ahahah just goes to show you how much Maemo and Nokia were thinking about the Canadian Market...LOL NADA

They think it's just North American Market. Fair assumption I guess it's just we Canadians that always try to make the differentiation and the rest of the world just sits back and says "Huh there's a difference"

HA
