I bought my N800 at the beginning of the month from Amazon Warehouse Deals. It was used, but it was like buying a new model. There were no problems with it, and if there were, all the same return policies apply as a regular item. So it's an option for anyone who doesn't want to use an auction site. Only, you have to check Amazon constantly, because sometimes they'll have one, and other times there will be nothing.

Just watch the threads here -- they pop up for sale all the time -- though there might be a delay while users try out Diablo.

If I were doing a comparison chart between the 810 and 800, one thing I might add for 800 propaganda purposes would be a GPS Upgradeable category with a yes for the N800 and and No for the 810.

I bought a separate GPS for the 800 ($60) and can change it whenever I hear about a better one. Also, my N800 GPS unit can be moved somewhere that the N800 isn't, since it's a separate unit. I actually used that feature on a cruise ship -- I lay comfortably in bed checking Maemo Mapper, with the GPS unit up by the porthole where it could get good reception. Try THAT with an 810!

On the other hand, prices seem to be dropping for the 810, which means the differential cost is shrinking, so the 810 is more tempting.

A bluetooth GPS can be used with the N810 as well...
