What is the current EASY way to transfer a lot of files from a PC with ANY os to Maemo 5 / N900?

Wifitrans is for Nokia N9 or does this URL for repo accidentally have N9 in it?

Edit: first post it was for Fremantle, but give 404.

Does anybody know if WifiTrans works or have better alternative suggestions?

With or without wire, It is hard for me to transfer lots or big files to my n900. It often reboots. Probably (I gess) something to do with a watchdog considering the n900 too slow during transfer.
this is the case with "mass storage" mode as well with sshfs (wifi and usb).

The solution I found is to use the usb mass storage mode within Backupmenu. Not very fast but sure.

USB-stick with H-E-N: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=65232
(first time is not easy, but then it is easy)
or
microSD-card. (easy and fast(it doesn't get so long to get back-cover, really!), if you have card reader with PC)

Unless you have swap on sd and something else put on sd, then sd is probably not an option. Usb plus HEN, new to me. Have to check that when I have time.

I sometimes plug the USB cable in and don't see any problems using that.
But more often I have ssh running already and just use scp.

And you don't experience reboots for, in example, 5Gb of files?

There are swap settings to use when transferring files to a SD card or emmc which has an active swap running on it. Look in the swappolube threads if you find nothing I will try to watch this thread and try to post the specific swap settings I use for big file transfers.
BTW I prefer to use SCP(ftp over SSH tunnel) to move files to my devices over USB cable.
H-E-N was great but now the USB mode applet does it all automagically especially when using flash drives though it can also initiate other USB devices.
