IMHO, Linux needs a decent player desperately, well for gnome anyway.
Surely there is a big enough audience of ubuntu users who would appreciate a decent player/organiser to make it worthwhile.

Yes, buggy as all get out in the GDE. Apparently it works okay in K, but I don't use that environment.
