I also couldn't install the application. I got the error:

Unable to install 'Tuxrace'. Some application packages required for the installation are missing.

Clicking on 'Details' tells me that the missing packages are libxmu6 and libgles1

I'm not a linux techie and have no idea about shared libraries and symlinks. I'm an ordinary user who simply downloads applications and installs them, and I've never had any problems installing applications until now. I haven't installed many apps at all, so space is not a problem. It's those two missing packages causing the problem.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Are you installing it via App Manager, or have you downloaded the .deb file? The two missing libraries are both available from the Nokia System Software Updates repository, so App Manager should pull them in automatically (unless the repository has been disabled or has failed to update?).

I tried installing it via App Manager.

I've also checked the Catalogues in App Manager and Nokia System Software Updates is active.

Any other ideas?

Thanks.

I'd try disabling the "Nokia System Software Updates" repository, exiting App Manager, then going back in and re-enabling it. That will force an update of all the repository metadata.

If that doesn't fix it, the only other thing I can suggest is installing the dependencies manually. Make sure you have rootsh installed, then launch X Terminal and run:
Code:
root
apt-get install libxmu6 libgles1

What firmware version are you running? (It's reported under Settings/About Product).

Disabling and re-enabling the "Nokia System Software Updates" and Manual apt-get force installing not(edit)worked for me.

I reinstall PR1.2 and opengles1 new version is installed (PR1.2 10.2010.19-1).

why new version of opengles1 not worked with Tuxrace!?

How i can install Tuxrace with opengles-sgx-img-common new version.

Thanks.
