Does anyone know what bugs have been fixed since the OS2008 beta? Specifically, I'd like to find out if the SD card bug has been fixed, where several people (including myself) reported that their SD cards had been corrupted. Anyone know?

Put me on ignore and you get your wish! You won't hurt my feelings.

And I wasn't meaning to make light of user frustration, guys. I just don't think rank hyperbole helps the issue. Or does it? I could be wrong.

I'm sure that once we get closer to step 5 of the 5 step tablet process we were told about, they'll have more resources. I'm sure that Quim already knows about the trouble too and that he'll work to get it fixed. It might not be today, it might not be tomorrow... but I'm sure they'll get the resources they need eventually... if someone higher up approves, anyways.

Oh, if you guys only knew. The things I know the maemo guys would love to vent about...

Making light of the problems people are having probably isn't the most sensible thing to do in a heated thread. Real problems mind you. Not the usual imagined ones (Unless I'm hallucinating a 6 hour download time for 1 file on a University net connection)

The fact of the matter is Nokia knew this would happen. It's happened before and no doubt it'll happen again. Doesn't make it any easier to swallow though.

Jay, at first glance, what other thing you see really new or vastly improved on this final release?...I will wait until the "black friday line" dissappear to get the file..

I got the file corrupted message as well. Do I turn off my unit and will it still operate? Or does the download store on the SD card and then install?

Ping. I've already downloaded the firmware for N800 and wonder if it can be flashed to N810. Probably not, as the hardware is different, but you never know. The download for N810 is chugging along at 3K/s. ETA is 12 hours

BTW, is there a kind soul with a fast connection that could mirror the image for N810?
