Eager to try it on my N9??? Is it available?

Orava, do you need alpha testers? Also eager to try it.

This can be easily done, I will add it to the next version.

If you press and hold on landmark it should open a dialog from where you can remove it.

I've been trying to fix that bug but still haven't figured out what's wrong with the code. On Windows and on N950 adding names and descriptions works fine so it might be that the bug is in N900's QML module. If we get Qt Quick 1.1 for N900 it'll probably fix this. Category support will come at some point.

I haven't been able to get N950 version running properly yet but I can release pretty stable beta version tomorrow(probably).

Excellent orava! Works great so far on N950

Edit: Zooming out / in seems to consume quite a lot of memory, my memory consumption jumped from total 540MB to 640MB just in few seconds of zooming

Yes, every time you zoom in/out it loads 7x9 map tiles from database to memory. Maximum number of tiles kept in memory is 600 which is roughly 300MB with topomaps, so it shouldn't ever use much more memory than that. You can try changing these settings (rows, cols, maxTilesInMem) in "settings.ini" (in MyDocs/.mapsi). If you e.g. change rows to 7 and cols to 5 it makes zooming faster but then you can hit to the map edges.

There are also multi touch gestures (rotating with two fingers and pinching in up-down direction(only in works in portrait mode)) that can be used to rotate map. If those are used then I found it better to have bigger map area (7x9 tiles) even though it uses more mem and makes things slower.

is it possible to somehow set display always on while Mapsi is active? I activated GPS tracking and started driving with a car and noticed that display went of quite quickly.
