This email doesn't ask you to send back the device.
It is the HOWTO to send back to nokia a purchased device on the France' store if you are not happy with it or if it doesn't work...

It doesn't look like they are asking for the device back in that email... it looks like they are responding to a phone call made to their service lines asking for a return label.

I asked Google to translate it and the first words read:

"Hello,
You have sent a request to label us to return a product purchased on the Nokia Online Store France, and we thank you. "

and it seems that you (or someone) requested to return a package.
Are you sure it's been Nokia that wants the tablet back ?
And where in the e-mail they are talking about the tablet itself, they are just talking about a generic Nokia device.

And how much you paid for it ? I've been reading of people getting the tablet for free in France.

This could be because of the over-discount whereby some French (and German?) users of the discount code got it entirely free.

If so, I'd recommend he respond and offer to pay the difference. Alternatively, worse case: what can they do? Nothing - they sent the device, it's been paid for. You have an invoice. Tough luck on them if they ballsed it up.

Furthermore, you have the device in hand, non? Do you really think that Nokia is going to have the Sûreté come to your door and demand it back?

In fact ... in france ... Many of the discounted code was cancelled due to an "error"... device was sell as 0 Euro instead of 99 Euros ...

Somes get their device before Nokia cancel the delivery at ups. Mine was cancelled before, my order cancelled too, and give me a new discount code which give me a nokia n810 for 99Euro + 7,5 for Delivery, instead of the first one which give me a n810 for 0Euro + 7,5 for Delivery.

But this one week after, i officially now that my device come back to Nokia only because i ve call it to know where is my device !
