Hi!

Quick question: how do I configure X Terminal to have a particular number of lines and columns?

I'd like to run a game that requires the terminal to have dimensions of 80x25.

Thanks!

Does changing the font size satisfy your program requirements?

Thanks! I tried it, but changing the font size doesn't seem to work. It DOES change the dimensions of the terminal, but it's not enough...

I get a message that says:
Your terminal size appears to be 131x27 characters. A 80x25 -sized terminal is REQUIRED for playing ADOM on this server. Please correct your terminal settings and try again. You may want to consult the readme, available at the main menu, and at http://ancardia.ath.cx/adom_server_info.txt
Any ideas?

I tried by jumping into debian and running this command which worked.

lxterminal --geometry=80x25

I haven't tried to do this natively, but maybe it will work.
