Open contacts. Open top menu. Choose groups and then Skype. Is that close enough?

Maybe it's close, but that is not what I wantedI want a closed environment for Skype that don't give me problems (problems like all these duplicate contacts created randomly and then are syncronized to Exchange). When I want to use Skype, I start it. When I dont, I close it. Like on my PC
Cool with integrated Skype, but I would prefere to have a stand alone Skype like in N800:
I feel (and that's me) that it easier to just start Skype when I need it, directly see who is online, chat for a while. And then close Skype when I don't want to Skype anymore. So its a separate application, and do not mix my Skype contacts with my e-mail contacts (not same ones). I have looked around a little, but can't find a stand alone Skype for N900.
Am I using the build in Skype wrong, as I dont get the same feeling like on PC (and Windows Mobile)? Is there a way to get a stand alone Skype for N900?
