It looks as though Android is being taken into the 3rd dimension.

And it seems as though heavy-hitting game-developers are already lining up to take advantage of this: Konami, Capcom, Namco, and Gamearts are releasing games for the system.

Anyone interested? Do you think 3D will survive on the handheld? What if it were a MeeGo handset?

3d gives me a massive headache. I for one will be avoiding it like the plague.

Is that due to the active shutter glasses (the ones that alternate eye visibility)? Do you experience the same with passive glasses? If not, these autostereoscopic screens may not induce headaches.
Just FYI.

I wonder if that isn't similar to the display they'll be using in the 3DS, IIRC it's a Sharp display in that as well.
Personally all 3D stuff right now is a gimmick, and these glasses-free displays are the only real way to make it not suck (but even then, these have a super narrow viewing range.)
I'd be hard pressed to buy in regardless of the OS, since it's just not that big a selling point for me.

I don't understand people who dont like 3d, Ive had a 3d setup on my PC sense the years of CRTs and shutter glasses. And when its done properly 3d Is a very engaging experience, Dont think about 3d as things fly out at you, its more like looking out a window.
