You need to do eMMC first and then rootfs.
Read the wiki, not some poxy nokiablog!

The Wiki on reflashing the N900 is seriously in need of simplification. It is ambiguous at best, but really, it needs to be deleted and rewritten.

RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin
now open maemo flasher-3.5.exe and type flasher-3.5 -F RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin -f -R
after it flashing is done don't switch on your mobile.
flasher-3.5 -F RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin -f
-R
flasher-3.5 -F fiasco.bin -f flasher-3.5 -F emmc.bin -f -R

Hi, I'm new to this site, and I'm having issues with the n900 constantly doing this. I work at a returns warehouse, and my job is datawiping phones. I have recieved a lot of n900 phones lately, and quite a few of them have had what appears to be this issue. It does not fully power on. The nokia screen does come on, but the screen will go dark and the process will start over.
I have pulled the battery out for 10-15 seconds, pressed the "U" key on the keyboard, then waited for the nokia screen before plugging the usb into the PC and running Maemo Flasher, but when trying to run either rootfs, or emmc it never gets past Suitable usb device not found.
I have run the flasher on a few N900's and had success, so I know I'm using the program properly, its just this issue I've had quite a few of the phones, and I have to send the phones to recycling if I cant complete the process.
Any help would be appreciated(I'd like to consider my self a techie, but this is something I can't figure out, and its annoying the hell outta me lol).
