Hello,

I am not able to install new applications or install updates from package manager because I get the following message: "There is no enough memory to installation. Release the space for installation by removing another applications. Would you like to continue installation?"

I have been removing many applications but seems like it won't help anything. I also checked my current memory situation and there is enough memory to install and update applications.

I wish I don't have to reflash my N900 because I have important files on HDD.

Greetings, Xictus

check instructions for "safely free some space in rootfs"

obviously at your own risk!!

search maemo.org for 'rootfs full' and you will find the answer.
