Hi, I've bought a N9 two weeks ago. There is no need of Nokia Account at all to use N9. But - everytime you switch on the phone, there is an annoying Nokia Account login dialog. You can ignore it by closing/escaping the dialogs. Sort of hacking the phone is needed to permanently cancel this dialogs. Use search here or google it, I can't remember the url/site.

I'm looking at getting an N9. I'd just be using it for texting, calling and emailing - everything you could do with the stock apps.
I use an iPhone at the moment, but before that I used a Palm webOS phone. When HP pulled the servers, it became hard to activate webOS 1.4.x devices.
I read that Nokia's account service for the N9 no longer exists. What does this mean? If I got an N9 and factory reset it, would I just be able to use it?
Thanks,
Chris
