The larger player doesn't really have anything to do with integration with the general media player, it's just a full page player view within CuteSpotify with more buttons, a view of the current play...

To remove the cache you'll need to delete /home/nemo/.local/share/harbour-cutespotify

I'll add an option to the login screen in the next version to handle this for you.
