i'm delighted to see a MeeGo tablet arrive, but:

if its going to use x86 i would prefer it to use a dual core atom.

unless there is oodles of power i would prefer ARM for app compatibility.

i would always consider paying an up-front cost for a contract phone, if the total cost including the line rental over the over contract period is equal to, or less than, any other option.

i am delighted about the switch to QT, because i believe it is a much better strategy for the future. this is a change that must be made, and will bring a great number of benefits.

i am an opensuse user anyway, so rpm is no barrier, nor too is the code similarity to fedora rather...

i'm not yet convinced that freemantle development won't wither on the vine once nokia marketing goes beserk on "step-five-of-five" the messiah has landed edition.

i need maemo 6 because i need a vibrant development community to keep making me apps for my mobile computer.

nokia needs to give us maemo 6 because it needs to demonstrate to smartphone buyers...

not that i want to turn this into a pissing contest, but; i will be paying £20/month too, only difference is the unit costs £112 from MPD rather than ~£450 from nokia..............
