Fixed the problem late last night. Just doing random things trying to get it to reboot into flash mode I was able to.

Under settings, then connections, you can manually set up a connection yourself instead of doing it once you open a program that ask's you for the connection you'd like to use.

The invoice sent from Amazon has the date that you actually pre-ordered it on, not the actual date they charge your card or ship it, so basically we are screwed unless you reorder it or go with...
