I took a quick look at the v3 file format : it looks like it is based on XML (once decrypted).
It would be a big job to modify pwsafe to read this format and then there are some functionnalities...

You can use pwsafe for windows (http://passwordsafe.sourceforge.net/) but there is no syncing mechanism.
