Re: Kindle Cloud Reader on N9/N950?

I've been thinking about alternative ways to get my Kindle library on the N9. Now, FBReader is a perfectly capable e-reader, so if I could just get my library to...

Re: Kindle Cloud Reader on N9/N950?

"general.useragent.override" = "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X x.y; rv:10.0.1)...

Re: Changing the User Agent on the N9/N950

Hmmm: the FT app might be actually working...

Google Music, by the way, fails with a DOM security error

Re: Changing the User Agent on the N9/N950

The iOS 5 string appears to be too long, therefore it overwrites some other parts of the file.

Has anyone done this stuff with Fennec yet? (I would *love* to get the FT HTML5 app running, and also...

chown root /usr/bin/grob
chmod 755 /usr/bin/grob

(and Amazon cloud reader does not appear to work. or at least, not with the user agent setting i used. boo.)

Kindle on the N9

OK. I love my N9. There is only one thing missing: Amazon Kindle. Now, I see absolutely no way that Amazon is going to get around to producing Kindle software for Maemo.

So I've been thinking...

Re: Indications on how well the N900 is selling

Nokia's initial plan was to manufacture 30,000 per month. That's since been increased to 100,000 per month.

However, given it's out of stock in much of Europe, I'm guessing Nokia could probably...

Re: Frotz for N900 (nfrotz)

Here you go.

Things I need to do: trap errors, add a menu bar for loading and saving of games, and build a deb package (including icons, etc.).
The first two should be pretty easy, the third will...

Frotz for N900 (nfrotz)

Hello all,

Just to let everyone know that a Maemo 5 port of Frotz (aka nfrotz) is on the way.

With a little bit of luck, I'll get an early alpha .deb out today.

If playing Hitchhiker's and...

Re: N900 in the UK, has there been a product recall?

Man, the amount of FUD on this board is unbelievable.

If companies recall products, they have to issue humiliating press releases (not least so they don't mislead investors). See the recent...

Putting apps in Maemo Testing
