In the amount of time people have spent on this thread speculating the release of a firmware, we could have written our own OS. Complete with portrait mode, video calling, MMS, integrated MSN etc etc.

Thanks for the wonderful update. Love the animation. Is it possible to keep the animation going in loops ? For example, if its raining, it should show raindrops falling down?

just tried 0.8 version and video call no longer works. As for issue with initiating chat with 0.7 version, I initially had that issue but after a reboot t went away and was able to chat without any...

did u unstall all other protocols and just installed msn ? I had the same issue when I had pidgin and extra protocol plugin installed but after removing all of them and just installing msn made it...

OK everybody who is having problem getting video call to work.. do the following.

- Uninstall any protocol plugins that u installed before.
- Reboot phone.
- Install "MSN Protocol plugin 0.7"...

Make Posting screen captures mandatory??

I think that it should be mandatory that whenever a member post about a new app he/she should post screen captures of that app as well because majority of times these apps are released in Extra-Dev...

Don't get your hopes up. I preordered from buy.com in Oct and my phone has not shipped yet. It shows status as "in shipping process". Its been stuck there since Nov.
