I'm fine with it since i'm already accustomed to this - using a dslr and not even bothering with live view. viewfinder, hence focus, recompose and shoot comes normally :)

why don't you guys center focus on whatever you want, and then recompose the frame while holding the camera button pressed half-way and then take the picture?
that's pretty much the right way to do...

it's software based, but my guess is that the camera app is not open source, so it might come, but in the form of a different app.

definitely upgrade. not only it fixes a lot of bugs in pr1.1.1, but it also allows access to the ovi store (not that there's too much in there at the moment but... :) ). not so many problems with it,...

as root in the terminal:
apt-get remove mypaint mypaint-data
apt-get install mypaint
apparently the latest mypaint includes mypaint-data, so it's only one package, and that generates conflicts...

don't do what i did on the other hand, don't erase those folders in the cities folder if you have any maps in there already. they're as good as gone :)
