Hi Addison,
Is the game stored on a fat or ext partition?, it sounds like a simple permission issue, you might have to make the whole folder writable,
Its failing on writing out the high score...

moepda, if you have a failed attempt the send time you try to download wget will rename the file with a .1 on the end. and so on each time you try.
make sure there are no (bad) copies under MyDocs...
