That driver is so buggy, I would just use a live usb key or something and do it in linux.
theres a post in the forums explaining how, but its something along the lines of making a 2 gigabyte...

the nook color has 3.0 booting, and its only 200 bucks. Im going to pick up one, my reason being no tegra 2 tablet has been affordable.

sudo killall netbook-launcher
sudo apt-get remove netbook-launcher
sudo apt-get autoremove
or if you still want to option of launching...

Try the 9.10 image at the start of the thread, (disable netbook-launcher for speed boost), It works pretty well, Im using the power40 kernel with it and Im running at 1.1ghz on a class 4.

Here is a very useful shell script that addresses a issue I have with apt, it only downloads one package at a time.
Well while apt-fast will not make it do simultaneous downloads it will speed it...
