I was a bit bored this weekend, so after the Tetrepetete port to Maemo 4 (http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=1475924&postcount=14) I've gone ahead and wrote a software renderer backend for my game...

gcc 5 cross-compiler for diablo

Further to my previous thread about GCC 4.9 (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=93106), I've now built a GCC 5 toolchain which runs on Debian Jessie x86_64 and builds binaries for Maemo Diablo....

skype may be obsolete ...but I still use it on my n8x0's...works fine for me. Not sure if...

I think you are the first user of toolchain besides me, and so this is the first bug report. I reckon it will work for you if you make the following changes to the linker script:

it just occurred to me...
considering the wiki for n8x0 and scratch is outdated, instructions don't work properly anymore ...etc. and even when they did it was a royal pain.
Could someone tinker...

Maemo is outdated to say the least.
We have an ancient kernel (with lots of backports), a glibc from the stone age and lots of other very old stuff.
On top of that the repros are a prime example of...

I remember reading about this a long time ago ...
I read someone got it running on the 770 n800 and n810 and it worked fine.

You may well find that maps need to be updated to 00.02.50.103 (July 2013 last available) so waste of time downloading EMMC Alps.bin if has older map content in which case you may be better grabbing...

You have the correct files, the 2 large ones. You need not care about the others.

FWIW I have the exact same output of ldd.
And I have open mode kernel, too.

Man works and shows (whatever man pages are in /usr/man or /usr/share/man).
