We can't use last.fm radio api in mobiles, but this app retrieve the data using a linux browser agent to get all we need.

Good question and I wish I could foresee the future in order to answer firmly.

What is different between now and Oct 2009 is Qt, the toolkit any developer willing to cover these requests will work...

Hmm, sounds like another package is conflicting with this (maybe the latest CSSU Qt update?). Try from the command line:
apt-get -f install
And that should tell you which package it is conflicting...
