Yes, I deleted and recreated my MfE connection with the non-provisionable device box checked to avoid that. You could try the options in Settings -> Security -> Device Lock though.

The one on codedrop has a kernel on a FAT partition in uImage format in the end of it. We're working to have the weekly images with that as well.
