I'm trying to figure out which dataplan to use with the n900 in germany. My current favourite is the one from o2, the "Internet-Pack-M". Unlimited data volume for 10€ and a cap to GPRS...

Look at liblocation in
Maemo 5 API documentation.
I don't use this nor do i know anything about this. But, for example, the API describes datastructures for GSM-CellInfos.

Higher resolution shouldn't be expected before OMAP4 hardware arrives, which pretty much means we'll have to wait until at least 2011.
There are several reasons why the Maemo 6 equipped devices...
