Meego is Moblin+Maemo based, it's integrating both parts. If you feel that your wasting your time and getting nothing in return, I advise you sell your N900 now rather than wait and see.

Don't go with Android. I was one of the first to have the G1, than the Mytouch.. and a HTC hero unlocked.. I've loaded all sorts of custom roms.. I've had my n900 for a month and i'll never go...

Android contains only the kernel of Linux, the rest is google stuff, Maemo is a 100 Linux OS. Maemo grants easy, and with easy i mean official with manufactur warranty, root access...Androids needs...
