there's a lot of hacks to start processes on boottime, like adding a QueenBeecon button and set to execute-once.

Kauppalehti giving more inforrmation about the cuts. Elop wants to streamline Symbian and Ovi development. Most cuts from those units. 1800 cuts in total, about 800 in Finland and 1000 ROW.
