Just chiming in to say my experience has been the same. I get a strange error when using verbosity levels above 3, but with 3 it seems to work just as expected.

I don't believe it works like that at the moment, but it should be relatively trivial to implement this functionality by reading the output from gpsd and pumping it into a bluetooth serial connection.

The block diagram doesn't show any switching circuitry between the line-level and the amplified pins, so if there were a way to do it in software it'd have to be specific to the n810 hardware...
