After an unsuccessful afternoon and early evening yesterday trying to get this installed, everything flowed perfectly today. Canola 2 is looking great so far!

Re: Remote Desktop-it works!
Works fine for me, except if I switch screens on my N800, then try to come back to the remote session, the remote session screen is unresponsive. Still, it's nice to have this tool along with VNC.

Re: Video Center
This is a great start for this beta app. Thanks to the developers for working on it, and hopefully continuing to work out the bugs and add features and capabilities.

Re: I've had it!!!!!! More SD card problems
I've been using an 8 gb Kingston Class 6 SDHC card in the slot inside the battery compartment for about a month, large (>100 mb) and small files stored on it, and haven't had a burp yet, knock wood.

Re: When is the next firmware coming?
Woke up early this AM, figured I'd toss in with a 'no wifi problems here.' I'm loving my N800, which seems to connect quickly to available wifi and hangs right in there with excellent stability.

Re: FM Radio 1.4.6...
I grabbed this yesterday. My thanks to those responsible for this app. The local listings are great, and listening through the speakers is a much-needed feature.

Re: N800 as an underpowered toy
I only take exception to the original poster speaking for everyone else. He's entitled to his opinion, and to believe what he wants.
For me, I like the N800 just fine. Yeah, I wish there was...

Re: Anyone else feel ripped off
Nah, it's cool to voice your opinion. In the end, this type of device is not for everyone, and simply may not be what you're looking for. You may be out a few hundred bucks right now, but these...

Re: Sirius on N800 via sipie
Excellent! Do yourself a favor, and take a look at the Yahoo Sirius widget that Tanner J. wrote, as it is beloved by those who use it. From a feature standpoint, it's spot-on.

Re: Sirius on N800 via sipie
I took the liberty of emailing Tanner (fellow who created the Sirius Yahoo widget) to see if he was interested in tackling this job with some funding support. BTW, I would be happy to kick in as...

Re: Streaming music off XM Radio website
Same thing happens with the Sirius player. I believe both use Java, something sorely missing from the N800.
Perhaps someone with the skills will produce a Sirius and/or XM player for the N800...
