I don't use the n810 for music primarily because I have my iPod to do that. And it has 30GB as opposed to the storage space available for an n810.
But yes, my iPod starts and stops with the car....

True... I live in rural middle-of-nowhere-ville in the woods, so I was only thinking about the trees getting in the way. And kinda thinking about the fact that there isn't much cell coverage near me.

Since it has a GPS and phone, it knows it's location, and if properly programmed, can use the phone to tell him about it. Then it can be found. Sounds like a fun geocaching end to the experiment :D

Can you see the screen with direct light on it? As in, the screen is working, but the backlight isn't.

So at the MIT swapfest I got an awesome suction cup mount for $3, so I bolted the mount that came with the N810 onto it.
I was in the process of putting a built in power and audio cables last week....
