BTW store.nokia.com (http://store.nokia.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/productdetail_10500_10101_-1_10000367) is showing it in stock and no longer a preorder. Maybe a good sign?

IMO go with Ubuntu Netbook Remix. It's well supported, stable and in active development from Canonical. With that said I'd download both and run them in an emulator [on your PC] or off an 1G SD card...

I must of been typing while you posted. IMO setting up a DVR style program wouldn't be that bad. My guess would be to write the audio from the FM radio to an audio file (via a hidden command line...
